I kind of don’t want to set anyone off, but first of all I’d like to point out that the basis of the theory is amnesia and not actual medical health issues. Also, I find it slightly irritating that television suddenly “can’t” talk about these things. Why not? What if it’s in a positive, enlightening way?

It was only taken into context of medical health, because obviously some guy claiming he can hear angels and doesn’t remember anything else, people are going to assume he’s nuts. Why is that any different than Anna, and why is it suddenly triggering? Because she was a little girl and grew out of it?

I kind of don’t understand why this became a big deal, and I do agree that it would have been better to speak personally than for the masses, though I don’t have a deeply rooted past in mental health, I do have family.

Anyway, I don’t know if the original poster’s will see this, but I feel like we should all take a big breathe and be calm. It wasn’t a statment made to be harmful, and personally, I don’t find anything wrong with it. There is no connotations that suddenly this plot arch will be deeply rooted in medical health. Just that there was no other way to deal with Cas not knowing who he was and hearing the other angels.

..I don’t.. Just.. Just fighting guys, we is familys. :(
